NREIF 2025 — Co-Sponsorship & Technology Partnership Showcase
Theme: Renewable Energy Innovation Forum | Technology Transfer & Local Value Chain
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Expanded Summary:
The Nigeria Renewable Energy Innovation Forum (NREIF 2025), held from 14–15 October 2025 in Abuja, stood as one of the country’s most influential gatherings focused on advancing clean-energy manufacturing and innovation. Hosted under the “Nigeria First” sustainability agenda by the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), the forum convened policymakers, international investors, private-sector players, and research institutions committed to accelerating Nigeria’s transition toward a low-carbon industrial economy.
As part of this national drive, Green Maple Energy Solutions Ltd., in partnership with Green Power & Storage (GPS), proudly participated as co-sponsors and exhibitors. The collaboration underscored the shared vision of both organizations to support Nigeria’s clean-energy ecosystem through technology transfer, local assembly, and capacity building that empower indigenous technical talent.
On the exhibition floor, Green Maple and GPS jointly presented a suite of next-generation renewable technologies designed to serve Africa’s evolving energy landscape. The showcase featured solar-hybrid microgrid systems, battery energy storage (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, and mobile clean-power units—innovations developed by GPS and introduced into Nigeria with a structured framework for Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) and Completely Knocked Down (CKD) production models. These models aim to localize assembly, enable technical transfer, and cultivate a sustainable manufacturing base that aligns with the National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Policy (NREEEP) and Nigeria’s industrial diversification goals.
For Green Maple, the exhibition represented more than a product showcase—it marked a tangible step toward establishing a domestic renewable-energy value chain capable of designing, assembling, and maintaining clean-power infrastructure within Nigeria. Beyond the hardware, the initiative emphasized knowledge exchange, workforce development, and the creation of an ecosystem where engineers, technicians, and service partners gain the expertise to sustain and evolve these technologies locally.
Throughout the forum, Green Maple engaged actively in strategic dialogues with government agencies, OEMs, and development partners on topics including localized component production, EV adoption frameworks, and hybrid-power integration for industrial clusters. This engagement reaffirmed the company’s role as a bridge between global innovation and local implementation, aligning closely with Nigeria’s sustainability priorities and the African Union’s Agenda 2063 vision for inclusive industrialization.
Impact & Strategic Value:
• Strengthened public–private collaboration toward Nigeria’s renewable industrialization and energy-access targets.
• Advanced technology transfer and local-content integration through SKD/CKD production pathways.
• Positioned Green Maple as a key enabler in developing technical capacity, maintenance expertise, and service networks.
• Enhanced alignment with national sustainability, climate-resilient development, and job-creation objectives.
• Demonstrated commitment to Africa-driven innovation through strategic partnership and practical implementation.
At Green Maple, we’re redefining how energy serves people, businesses, and cities — creating smarter, cleaner, and more connected systems that power progress sustainably.
